Hello, and thank you for taking the time to learn about my practice. I hope that you will find this site not only informative, but welcoming as you undertake the process of carefully selecting a therapist.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides psychotherapy and supportive counseling to children, adolescents, and adults. My job as a therapist often involves weaving together many moving parts. I believe that successful therapy creates space for individual growth, allowing clients to reach a place of greater personal peace, confidence, and ease with themselves. As these changes evolve, clients are likely to experience improved quality of life in their home and family environment, school or workplace, and within their interpersonal relationships.
I am deeply committed to creating a therapeutic setting that is warm, nonjudgmental, and comfortable. I place great value on my relationships with my clients, and I will work diligently to engage with you in a partnership that is always truthful, accepting, and collaborative. Throughout the course of therapy, we are likely to touch on issues related to mood, behavior, coping strategies, and interpersonal skills, ultimately enhancing your ability to create and sustain healthy and fulfilling relationships.
From our first contact, you will be treated warmly, attentively, and respectfully. I am dedicated to helping my clients achieve outcomes that are both rewarding and enduring, and your therapy plan will be tailored to reflect your values, needs, interests, and personal strengths. It is natural to feel a little nervous or awkward as you think about getting started, but rest assured, you will not regret this decision.
